Le Programme d'enseignement intensif d'un mois pour enfants autistes est un programme unique dispensé par le FEDEA Swiss International Centre for Autism, à Morges, en Suisse.

Le Programme FEDEA d'enseignement intensif d'un mois permet aux enfants autistes de rattraper leur retard scolaire et de développement, de corriger leur comportement et de développer leurs capacités de communication.

Ce programme FEDEA permet d'obtenir des résultats exceptionnels en seulement quatre semaines!

Nous recommandons aux parents d'inscrire leur enfant autiste au plus vite.

Il est indispensable de corriger le développement des enfants atteints d'autisme dès leur plus jeune âge, chaque jour compte!

A l'âge pré-scolaire le cerveau de l'enfant est encore extrêmement malléable et notre intervention permet de compenser les retards et anomalies de développement.

Voici un exemple d'un enfant d'âge pré-scolaire âgé de 35 mois:
- cognitive level of 18 months at the start of the program (delay of 17 months): does not understand what to do with everyday objects, cannot sort by colour or by shape, cannot do first insert puzzles, cannot associate an object with its picture; does not have any pre-school skills, such as number or colour recognition, not interested in colouring or crafts, does not sit on a chair (either for meals or for activities);

- significant receptive and expressive language delay: does not look at people, does not react when called by his name, does not understand any words (even for most common objects like spoon, glass, book...), does not follow any simple instructions (like no, come, stop, sit, give me...); non verbal child, no gestures, no intelligible words;

- significant delay in social skill acquisition: does not look at people (even at his mother), is not interested in other children, cannot play at all, obsessed by moving lights (television, mobile screens);

- behaviour problems: hitting and biting during transitions, alternation of hyperactivity (running and flapping) and low activity (too much time on the floor), continuous mumbling (even when busy or eating);

- autonomy delays: not toilet trained, does not eat on his own (cannot use his spoon or handle his glass correctly), limited eating choices (eats only french fries with ketchup, some types of biscuits), cannot put on/take off his shoes (with velcro) on/off, cannot zip/unzip;

- delays in global and fine motor skills (13 months delay in fine motor skills): cannot imitate at all (movements, gestures at the table or with objects), does not handle or use everyday objects correctly;

- this child has a cognitive level of 26 months (8 month improvement) after one month's intensive intervention: understands the objectives of some exercises, has learnt to associate objects with their pictures, can do first insert puzzles and likes it, starts using pencils to scribble, turns the pages of a book, pushes toy cars, can sort by colour (red, blue, yellow, green), has learnt to sort by shape (circle, square, triangle, can recognise some letters (A, B, C, D) in various exercises; generally speaking the child now knows that he has to do something with objects, is more involved in his exercises, tries for longer when difficult, sits for periods of 5-10 minutes (for meals and exercises at the table), starts to really concentrate on exercises, uses trial and error reasoning to self-correct his work

- progress in expressive communication: has learnt to use a PECS communication system (step one) and can now give a pictogram to ask for his biscuit or drink at meal times and starts using pictograms for requesting colours in pre-mathematics exercises; has also started using pointing to ask for different food (seen in the cafeteria); shows response (looks, turns his head) when called, starts understanding instructions (give me, sit); the child benefitted from intensive articulation sessions and is now able to repeat some phonemes (/a/, /o/, /i/, /d/) and the word "mummy"; has improved in imitation exercises (gestures and with objects);

- social skills: more emotional responses (starts smiling at his mother at the end of the day, more interested in other children), shows more interaction during meals (tries to request other children's food), progress in imitation (has learnt to wave his hand to say bye, bye);

- behaviour: progress, less tantrums as now starts understanding the use of a transition card for changing activity; no more sounds or noises during work sessions and over the last two days no more mumbling at all!

- autonomy: progress, starts using his spoon and fork, tries to drink holding his glass with one hand, less spilling; can put his shoes off and on (velcro), has learnt to unzip and zip his jacket;

- motor skills: some progress in global motor skills due to better imitation skills; can transfer objects from one hand to another; can hold his pencil to scribble;
